CSCC Stars@ CCCC T20 game, Aug 27th 2017 – Reported by Srinivasan Sundararajan(CCCC)
In this all important do or die game between CSCC-Stars and CCCC, CSCC-Stars won the toss and elected to bowl first. CCCC lost both openers after starting well and consolidated well before ending with 58/4 at the break. Sandeep then launched his attack on Narayan with 3 consecutive sixes before holing out at deep square leg of Prasanna. CCCC continued losing wickets and ended up scoring 121/9 of their 20 overs. Sandeep top scored with 30(23) and all the CSCC bowlers bowled very well. Prasanna & Kervyn were the pick of their bowlers claiming 2 wickets each, while Avinash, Narayan and Chaithanya got 1 each.
Defending an average total of 121 in Longmont, CCCC got to a great start with Sandeep getting rid of Kervyn and Jayanth in the 2nd over. Chaitanya and Sandeep then took the attack on the bowlers and scored few boundaries before Sandeep coming back to strike again and getting rid of Chaitanya. CSCC consolidated in the middle overs but kept losing wickets and the asking rate kept climbing and in the end it was too much for them. CSCC finished with 102/9 of their 20 overs. FRCC at LCC-T: T20 game - played on Aug-27 2017 – Reported by Rohit Saini(FRCC)
This weekend LCC-T hosted FRCC for a T20 game. LCC-T’s captain Dharma won the toss and decided to bat first.
FRCC got to a great start when Subhashish sent Nayab(0) packing on the very first ball of the game and Manish (6) in the next over with two beautiful outswingers both caught in the slips by Sumeet. Ramesh and Raj both played sensibly after that in the powerplay and after 7 overs the score was 45/2. Rohit bowled the 8th over and got Ramesh(23) and Dharma(2) both bowled in the same over on slower balls. Chari got Raj (15) in the 11th over to make it 53/5.
FRCC were on top and wanted to bowl out the opponents as early as possible, but Imran (35) and Mayank (23) had some other plans. They both played some good strokes and add up 62 runs for the team and LCC-T finished up with 123-8 in 20 overs. For FRCC, Rohit picked up 3, Subhashish 2, Chari, Murali&Abhinav got a wicket each.
Chasing a small target, FRCC were keen to finish the game early to better their NRR. Sumeet started in a similar fashion, dominated the bowling and hitting the ball long and all over the park. LCC-T tried 5 different bowlers in the first 8 overs but nothing seemed to be working for them. FRCC got to 100 in 8.2 overs, with Sumeet doing bulk of the scoring and Abhinav (13) happily playing the second fiddle. FRCC chased the score down in 10.3 overs with Sumeet (98* on 42 balls) missing another T20 century by just 2 runs. Sumeet’s innings had 9 huge sixes and 6 fours.
Overall a dominant show by FRCC with the Ball and the Bat both.
Man of the Match: Sumeet Khule for his amazing knock of 98* (42b 6x4 9x6).

FCCC @ LCC-T T20 Game, Aug 27th 2017 – Reported by Darshan Jinendrakumar(FCCC)
FCCC won the toss and elected to bat first.
Batting team started with openers Darshan and Omer. They went on from ball one and were scoring at more than 10/over. Omer got out for 22(10). Shantanu walked in and stayed a ball to get run out. Darshan 32(20) continued hitting and was scoring freely before another erroneous run out by FCCC. Team was at 63/3 at 6 overs now with Naveen and Teajs newly at crease. Tejas was caught out at midwicket and walked in Sagar. Sagar started off well and Naveen stayed responsible, together getting the team to 142. A solid partnership ended with Naveen scoring 39(44). Sagar remained fluent and continued to score his maiden fifty for FCCC and remained not out at 54(35). Naman in the end added a quick 18(7) with 2 huge sixers, taking the team total to 177.

CSCC-Stripes @ BCC: T20 game, Aug 26, 2017 - Reported by Benjamin George(BCC)
BCC won the toss against CSCC-stripes and decided to bat on a bright sunny day.
BCC started with Ben and Rinsan as opening pair. Surender opened the bowling for stripes and bowled with decent pace and discipline. BCC openers punished a few bad balls in the beginning but were cautious in their approach. Once the ball stopped swinging, both the batsmen scored freely, with Rinsan leading the charge.
Both the batsmen reached their half centuries before they decided to accelerate even more. Stripes bowlers had no answer to the onslaught which Rinsan started after the 12th over. Ben perished on 59 when Krishnan bowled him out from round the wicket. Hardik joined Rinsan who was already hitting sixes and boundaries at will. Rinsan completed his century in no time and was in no mood to slow down. When it looked that 150 was on the cards, CSCC bowlers pulled it back and bowled few tidy overs in the end. When the mayhem was over and dust settled, all that was left was a tattered bat and a scoreboard reading 231/1, out of which 140 runs were scored by Rinsan which included 17 towering sixes and 4 boundaries while remaining not out. The crown jewel of the innings was the 6 consecutive sixes that Rinsan hit during the 18th and 19th over all around the park.
With this blitzkrieg of an innings, Rinsan announced his arrival to CCL circuit, which will be cherished for a long time. Kudos to Krishnan and Surender, who were the only two bowlers from Stripes who managed to keep their bowling economy under 10.
In response to the mammoth total, CSCC-Stripes batsmen came out swinging with Vamsi and Alagar taking the lead. Vamsi hit few lusty blows to accelerate the scoring and the scoreboard read 60 at the end of 6 overs. BCC bowlers kept a decent line and length to get rid of the top order. Manohar, Steve and Raymond tried to steady the ship in the middle overs but Kamal Ponday wreaked havoc and bowled out the CSCC-Stripes middle order to get his 4 wickets. Nobody noticed in the euphoria that Kamal had actually taken a Hatrick in his quota of 4 overs. At the end of 20 overs, Stripes managed to score a respectable 147, thus sealing the victory for BCC.
Man of the Match: Rinsan Mohammad for his batting, scoring 140 runs in 64 balls which included 17 sixes and 4 boundaries. He also took a wicket in the only over he bowled and contributed with a catch also.
