Teams arrive in Houston - No official functions planned.

Looking for a fun place in Katy to hang out Friday night – I recommend Mo’s Place @ 21940 Kingsland Blvd Katy, Texas cnr Mason Rd and Kingsland. 281-392-3499.

If you are headed in from the Houston area, take I-10 West bound out to the Mason Road exit. Take a left (South) under the overpass on Mason road. Travel down Mason for about a mile and you will see a Whataburger on your right. Turn into the strip center on the corner of Mason @ Kingsland just past the Whataburger. They are all the way at the other end of the strip center.

Game-day Information

You will notice that the start time for Sunday is at 8.30 AM, this is to allow for those that have Sunday evening flights to get to the airport on time. To achieve this start time will take the cooperation of players, team management and officials – I ask for your help here.
Umpires will be instructed to keep on top of over rates – (about 4 min per over). Slow over rates will not be accepted and captains held accountable.

Food and Drink

Chilled Gatorade and water will be provided for the players and officials, please ensure that no trash is left in the park.

Lunch will be provided on both days:
Saturday will be subway sandwiches (6”) and chips. Chicken, tuna and veggie subs will be available.

Sunday will be box lunches featuring rice, daal, & kabab or rice, daal, & potato cutlet (vegetarian).

Bananas and watermelon will also be available each day.

All games will be played at Paul D. Rushing Park. Specific ground assignments will be advised on arrival to the ground.

Chairs will be available and there are 2 shade structures at the park.
The fields are still new, and still have some uneven surfaces – we have tried our best to mitigate this with top soil and a heavy roller, but the grounds remain a work in progress, please take this into account.

I will be meeting with the captains on Saturday morning (8.45 AM) to discuss my expectations and to answer any questions.
